Torque Monster Headers is a new innovative header design for 5.0 V8 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer vehicles 1996-2001 like our test mule, a 1998 Ford Explorer V8 "Eddie Bauer" Edition 4x4.

The 2001 Mercury Mountaineer V8 Monterey was recently purchased for CARB testing, March 5, 2005.

Tech Performance & Engineering has received it’s Official California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order Number "D-589", which permits the advertisement, sales and installation in California of the Torque Monster Headers (p/n 9601-50-EX-1) manufactured by Tech Performance & Engineering for the 1996 to 2001 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer vehicles, equipped with the 5.0 liter V8 Engine.
